Title: Breaking Barriers, Building Accountability: The Power of Batterer Intervention Programs 

Description: 

Hope Redefined Counseling will discuss their work with domestic violence batterers. The participants will gain a better understanding about batterer intervention programs and their role in reducing recidivism and promoting accountability. Participants will learn about myths, biases, and facts surrounding domestic violence abusers. The participants will engage in case studies to take a deeper look at potential domestic violence batterers

Speakers: 

Shat’e Griffin, LISW-CPS, CAMSII, CDVSII, CFSW, SAP and Joye Fullwood, MSW Student

CE: 2 social work hours. Proof of attendance for CE will be distributed via email within one week after the event.

NASW-SC or other NASW Chapter Members: $7.50
